With Matthew's upbringing, his influence of style was not always suits and button-down shirts. On any given day, it would not be uncommon to catch Matthew in a crewneck or hoodie, some jeans and usually, a matching hat. Matthew's hat reputation earned him the nickname growing up, "Matt-Hatter."
Evolve is a series of collections that Matthew produced that was inspired directly from the content he was creating. He wanted people to have an avenue to express externally what they were learning internally. Utilizing his early fashion style influences, Matthew set out to create a collection that could be accessible to more than your average business casual crowd. The name Evolve derives from the notion that these collections, like style, continuously grow and mature. The initial intention was for new pieces to be added to each collection. This project is currently on intermission but the initial collections from the premiere launch can still be viewed. |
